Welcome to my Ireland Study Abroad Blog!

Hi everyone!  I am leaving tomorrow to study abroad in Dublin, Ireland this semester at Dublin City University through my college, Boston University.  I thought I would keep a blog while I'm abroad not only so friends and family can keep up to date on my adventures, but also so that I can look back on my travels.  The title of this blog comes from a quote by Jack Kerouac, which I hope to embrace during my time abroad:

"Live, travel, adventure, bless, and don't be sorry."  

I've never written a blog before, but I'll do my best!  I'm excited, but also nervous because I have never been so far away from home.  It seems like only yesterday I got the email saying I was accepted to the program, yet here I am, packing away my belongings and preparing myself to live in a foreign country for four months.  I can't wait to immerse myself in a new culture and learn the Irish way of life.  I hope to update this blog regularly, so please check back to follow me on my journey through Ireland!
